i started playing bass in Phantom Planet when i was 16. most people know our song California. we made 4 records and toured heavily. opened for Elvis Costello, Sting, Incubus, Maroon 5, Panic at the Disco, Paramore, and many more.

i started playing live with maroon 5 in 2012, functioning as a utility guy of sorts. i play bass, samples, keys, acoustic, percussion and sing some background vocals. 

i would say i spend most of my time writing and producing music when i’m home. i've written and/or produced for Maroon 5, Sara Bareilles, JR. JR., Gomez, and Newton Faulkner, to name drop a few. even spent some time with Daryl Hall. 

i've been drawing since i was kid. AP art in high school. architecture summer camp. always loved it.

oddly i always handwrite in all caps, but i type lower case. pure laziness.
